Bawumia will hinder the progress of Ghana, NDC reacts to Bawumia’s comments

The NDC’s Savannah Regional Communications Officer, Malik Basintale has responded to the comment made by the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during an event to show president Akufo-Addo as the NPP’s presidential candidate for the 2020 election, where he was maintained as the running mate.

Mr. Bawumia indicated that, it’s clear that the NDC’s poor management of the country for the 8 years that they were in power, saying that if we should look back into the NDC’s 8 years in office, the results of their Economic management was declining growth, high and constantly rising inflation, rapidly depreciating currency, loss of business confidence, high unemployment, poor regulated finance sector,a collapsing NHIS,no ambulance system to speak about,45% annual increase in electricity prices, increase in taxes, the freeze in public recruitment, cut on research allowances, and finally ended with the IMF for a bailout.

Notwithstanding this diabolical performance in office, they are still trying to make a come back to give us an additional dose of their incompetence.

The vice president spoke about how their party has delivered saying the NPP has delivered at least 78% of the promises they made to Ghanaians before they took power after the 2016 December polls, adding they have not only delivered, but performed much better than the incompetent alternative.

He finally entreated members of the NDC to read,to take a look at the data and get better informed about the current administration’s performance and that of theirs as they were in power.

Responding to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s comments, Mr. Malik Basintale who has been critical of the incumbent government has described the vice president as “petty, terrible and horrible, adding that, his selection as vice president will hinder the progress of Ghana. “Bawumia is now an absolute disaster to Ghana’s future” the NDC firebrand responded.
